Yes, it’s possible to love vegetables! Demystify children’s nutrition with nutritionist Stéphanie Côté. She will give you tips and tricks so your children enjoy eating well. She will also explain two main areas of importance for children’s nutrition: the food to be offered to meet your children’s nutritional needs and how to serve them so that meal time remains a moment of enjoyment.


How to cook with an Instant Pot
with Daniel Shumski

Join us for a cooking demonstration with an Instant Pot with Daniel Shumski, author of the book How to Instant Pot: Mastering all the functions of the one pot that will change the way you cook. Take the mystery out of this popular electric pressure cooker and learn how to make it a part of your meal plans. Mr. Shumski will also be available for a book signing after the conference.


BACKYARD STARGAZING IN THE 21ST CENTURY
with Andrew Fazekas (the Night Sky Guy)

Blogger Tippi Thole of Tiny Trash Can shows how her family reduced their weekly household waste to the size of (you guessed it) a tiny trash can! Come and learn her simple waste-reducing strategies!

Portugal is one of the most beautiful destinations in Europe characterized by the variety of its attractions, its highly appreciated gastronomy, the hospitality and the friendliness of its inhabitants. Alain Benoit will make you discover the historic quarters of Lisbon, the beaches of the Algarve, the historic cities of Evora, Obidos, Coimbra and Tomar, the highest peak of Portugal in the Estrela Natural Park, the great vineyards of the Douro Valley and of course, the nice city of Porto.

This program will help participants recognize elder abuse and how to take simple but practical steps to help elderly people in a respectful and safe manner.



An Unforgettable Journey to Panama

First country of her round-the-world-trip, Jennifer Doré Dallas was definitely impressed by Panama: from the big city to the distant countryside, the idyllic desert islands to the coffee plantations, meetings with the local population to the gigantism of the boats sailing through the Canal. A perfect country to explore, relax, meet locals and be surprised, a wonder she’ll share with you in pictures!
