Property assessment

Property assessment

The assessment roll deposited by the Direction de l’évaluation foncière de la Ville de Montréal shows the following information for each unit of assessment located in the Town of Kirkland:

  • valuation
  • land area
  • property address
  • registration number
  • cadastral number

The new assessment roll for the City of Montreal was deposited on September 14, 2022. Values in the roll reflect market conditions as at July 1, 2021. It is the basis for your 2023, 2024 and 2025 tax bills. You have until April 30, 2023 to apply for an administrative review of the assessment of your home.

Don’t forget to send us a reading of your water meter!

In case of sale of a property, a final reading of the water meter is compulsory and must be submitted to the notary one week prior to the signing date. The seller must also ensure that his notary forwards this reading to the town by email: [email protected]
